Skyview Farm and Creamery
The Skyview Farm and Creamery prides themselves on taking their time and care to ensure they’re crafting the most healthy and nutritious foods possible. Their dairy cows are rotated around the 80 acre farm to ensure they’re eating the best grass to produce high quality milk. Stop by and sample the cheeses that have been aged in underground cheese “caves” before buying some to take home from their shop!
Kansas National Wildlife Refuge
The Marais des Cygnes, French for “Marsh of the Swans”, is a 7,500-acre wildlife refuge located 15 minutes from our Pleasanton, Kansas bed and breakfast. Spend your day relaxed and in-tune with nature while enjoying wildlife viewing, photography, hiking, driving, and hunting and fishing (in designated areas) on site.

Mine Creek Battlefield
On October 25, 1864 2,000 Union soldiers defeated approximately 7,000 Confederate soldiers on this Civil War Battlefield in Kansas. Discover the history of “one of the largest cavalry battles of the Civil War” while you look around the visitor center, view interpretive trail exhibits along the nature trails, or take a self-guided tour around the property. And before you leave, stop by the museum gift shop to purchase a souvenir.
