Available for Kansas weddings, Cedar Crest Lodge is located 45 minutes south of Overland Park off Hwy. 69.  The lodge is nestled amid 111 acres of beautiful rolling hills, trees, and ponds.  It is a rustic, but elegant retreat offering spaciousness, comfort, and magnificent hilltop views.  This is a full-service facility offering indoor and outdoor weddings, rehearsal dinners, spa services, and post-wedding brunches.  We take pride in tailoring each reception to the bride and groom's desire and budget.  Cedar Crest Lodge is a 7,000 sq. foot lodge housing eight bedrooms in the main building, three luxury rooms in the adjacent 3,000 sq. foot carriage house, a meeting room, two living rooms, two fireplaces, and several decks and patios to enjoy the wonderful views.

Your personalized Kansas City area wedding awaits you at Cedar Crest Lodge near Overland Park.  We offer many styles of weddings and receptions from small and simple to large and elegant or something in between.  The size of our grounds gives you several choices of wedding locations: 1) A magnificent sunset wedding on our beautifully landscaped west patio, 2) A large outdoor wedding overlooking the beautiful horizon from our expansive north lawn, 3) An intimate ceremony by the fireplace, or 4) Consider immersing yourself in nature by getting married in our 100-year-old pecan grove.  At the end of your joyous day, pamper yourselves in our richly appointed honeymoon suite.

 

As a site for your Kansas reception or wedding, we also offer small-scale post-wedding brunches in our large meeting room.  Able to hold up to 40 and 50 people, this location offers the perfect space for your exclusive post-nuptial celebration.

WEDDING PACKAGES
As a standard, all packages include use of Cedar Crest Lodge from 11 am - 11 pm the day of the wedding, dinner (see menu), tables, white wooden padded chairs, china plates, white cloth napkins and tablecloths, cups, flatware and centerpieces for food table (client may provide own centerpiece).  The wedding couple is responsible for additional decor.  You may provide your own alcohol: please see below for more details.  You may rent a tent for an additional charge.

All room rentals include breakfast.   Room prices are based on double occupancy.  A $15 charge will apply for each additional person per room.  Extra meals can be provided if needed.

Platinum Package - Includes standard package items, and:
Eleven rooms in the lodge for two nights. The value of the rooms for two nights is $2,650 and can be paid for by the guests.
Champagne Toast - You must supply the champagne, we will supply the glasses, pour and serve.
Half-price Spa Services - For the Bride and Groom only (limit of two services)
Gift certificate - 15% off your next visit.  Good for one year and is non-transferable.
COST: 25 people $4,695; 50 people $5,395; 75 people $5,995 (includes tax and gratuity)

Gold Package - Includes standard package items, and:
Eleven rooms in the lodge for one night. The value of the rooms for one night is $1,325 and can be paid for by guests.
COST:  25 people $3,495; 50 people $4,295; 75 people $4,995 (includes tax and gratuity)

Wedding for Two - Includes the following:
Minister, small wedding cake, chairs for guests*, 1 bottle of champagne with two keepsake flutes, dinner for two, one night's stay in the French Quarter room with a full breakfast the next morning.  You may upgrade to the Tuscan Manor room for an additional $65 (based on availability).  The wedding ceremony MUST be held between the hours of Noon and 3pm. 
Sun-Thu COST: $699 (+ tax/gratuity)
Fri-Sat  COST: $899 (+ tax/gratuity)
*No more than eight guests are allowed in attendance (making 10 counting the Bride and Groom).  If there are more than eight guests, there is an additional charge of $10 per person.  Any extra dinners are $20 per person.  Tax and gratuity will be added to all additional costs.  THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS IS 13 (for a total of 15 with the Bride and Groom).  If your total number is over 15, YOU NEED TO PURCHASE THE GOLD OR PLATINUM PACKAGE.  A deposit of $300 is required to book your wedding and a firm headcount and final payment are due one week before the wedding.

Rehearsal Dinners
Available for $22.95 per person (includes tax and gratuity)

Alcohol:  We do not have a liquor license.  This means that we cannot sell you liquor, but you can provide your own.  We will provide cups, ice, limes, lemons, beverage napkins, soft drinks, and two mixers.  A bartender will be hired at your cost - $20 per hour (minimum four hours).

MENU CHOICES
Includes rolls, two side dishes and a drink. May select additional side dishes for a charge of $1.95 per person.

» Pork Medallions w/ Sage Butter Sauce: Melt-in-your-mouth pork medallions.  Sauce includes white wine, shallots and fresh sage.

» Braised Pork Chop: A well-seasoned 10-ounce pork loin chop simmered in white wine, topped with rosemary, red onions caramelized with balsamic vinegar, and carrots.  The chops are then slowly baked for tenderness. (Try the chops Mediterranean style for another option)

» Pulled Pork: Shredded pork that's been slow-cooked over apple wood, and then mixed with our special sauce.

» Chicken Parmesan: A chicken breast filet breaded with Parmesan and Italian herbs, sautéed to a golden brown, and then topped with additional cheese and a rich marinara sauce.

» Chicken Roulades: Well-seasoned chicken breasts stuffed with cream cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and basil.

» Graham's Chicken: We start with a grilled chicken breast and top it with creamy goat cheese and a sun-dried tomato lemon/basil butter sauce.

» Chicken Enchiladas: Tortillas stuffed with chicken, cheese, and onion and baked in a mild enchilada sauce with more cheese and black olives.  Ole'!

» Cedar Crest Chicken: Our own version of Chicken Marsala.  A breaded chicken breast filet, topped with a smoked provolone cheese and a chardonnay mushroom sauce.

» Parmesan Crusted Chicken: Sautéed then oven roasted chicken breasts drizzled with a creamy sage-butter sauce.

» Smoked Brisket: Mouthwatering brisket slow-smoked over pecan wood. So tender you need a spoon to eat it.

» Steaks (your choice of ribeye or Kansas City strip): Tender 12-ounce steaks grilled to perfection over chunks of pecan wood and topped with sauteed mushrooms. Add sautéed mushrooms for $1 per person.

» Beef Tenderloin in a Burgundy wine sauce: Tender beef filets sautéed and topped with a rich Burgundy mushroom wine sauce.

» Beef Wellington: A 10-ounce tender beef filet wrapped inside a crisp flaky pastry crust stuffed with portabella mushrooms, spinach, bleu cheese, and caramelized onions.

» Veal Chop: A juicy veal loin chop served with a robust wild mushroom sauce. A wonderful item you won't be disappointed in!

» Grilled Wild Salmon Fillet: Fresh 8 oz. fillets grilled over apple wood.

» Cajun Shrimp Fettucine: We take traditional alfredo sauce and spice it up with some Cajun shrimp and sausage. We can vary the amount of spice depending on your preferences!

» Cavatelli with Asparagus: Pasta tossed with asparagus, feta cheese, tomatoes, black olives and olive oil.

» Linguini with Tomatoes and Basil (Seasonal): Homegrown tomatoes, fresh basil, garlic, and balsamic vinegar combine to make a dish bursting with freshness and flavor!!

» Lasagna (meat or vegetable): Layers of pasta, cheese, vegetable, and marina sauce. Can also be made with Italian sausage.

» Sausage and Roasted Red Pepper Pasta: Penne pasta tossed with Italian sausage, red onions, roasted red peppers, and plenty of fresh garlic.
