| Cedar Crest started as a vision for former owners Mary Jo and Harold
Leisure. Mary Jo, a well known decorative artist/designer, wanted
a studio where she could pass on her knowledge of decorative painting
to others in a relaxed and unique setting. In 1985 the Leisure's
dream came true when they opened up their beautiful 7,000 square
foot home to share with others. Guests/students now had a place
to enjoy new experiences, relax in a beautiful setting and reflect
in the serene surroundings of the country. Today, we continue
to honor their philosophy. |
| A Letter From Mary Jo Leisure |
Dear Friends,
The year 2000 has brought many changes in Harold's and my life.
We have sold Cedar Crest to a young, energetic, exciting couple,
Matt and Laura Cunningham. We are anxious for you to meet them
and to recognize their love of Cedar Crest and their excitement
in keeping it a creative haven for decorative painters, as well
as a beautiful retreat in the country for Bed and Breakfast guests.
God's beauty from the top of this hill is indescribable. For the
last 16 years we have enjoyed thousands of guests as they passed
through our lives enjoying the beauty of Cedar Crest. Matt and
Laura and their young son Tyler, intend to continue adding their
own flare to these surroundings.
Harold and I have moved into town. Pleasanton that is, and plan
to slow our lives down, enjoying our grandchildren, continuing
an acfive part inour church and community as well as relaxing
in the two white rocking chairs on our front porch. However, the
painting and Cedar Crest will continue to be a vital part of our
lives. I will continue to teach several classes in the Cedar Crest Studio each year. Hopefully I will meet you there.
As you make future plans I hope you will include Cedar Crest in
your seminar choices or perhaps plan a Bed and Breakfast getaway
in the beautiful hilltop home surrounded by gorgeous sunrises
and sunsets, with Matt and Laura as your gracious hosts.

Class Information

|
The class cost includes your lodging, 3 meals and 1 snack aday.
For those flying, there is no charge for shuttle to and from the
airport as long as you arrive at the specified time!
A deposit of $ 100 is required to hold your spot in the class.
The balance is due one month prior to the class start date. All
deposits are non-refundable. We accept MasterCard, Visa & American
